Students and adults are invited to hear award-winning, young adult author Kwame Alexander at this free event, 7 – 8 p.m. Thursday, April 27 at the Springfield Art Museum auditorium, 1111 E. Brookside Drive. Books will be available for purchase and signing. The author is also giving a workshop from 3:30 – 5 p.m. in the community room of the Springfield Art Museum for K-12 teachers.
